Nasreen is an advocate and a human rights and feminist activist. Nasreen received her LL.B from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2014, and obtained her license to practice law in 2015. In addition, this year, Nasreen started her M.A studies at Reichmann University in Herzliya in the field of Law, Technology and Innovation, focusing on the role of law in light of the advancement of technology in relation to human rights issues. During her work in human rights fields Nasreen practiced Labor Law, focusing on women’s rights at work and the prevention of sexual harassment in Arab work places (Kayan 2016), she also worked as a lawyer in the legal department of the Hotline for Refugees and Migrants in Tel Aviv (2018). Between the years 2018-2021 Nasreen practiced civil law as part of a construction company. Today, Nasreen works in the legal department of Kayan, which provides advice and legal representation to in cases of sexual assault, harassment in the workplace and domestic violence.
